The Punisher: War Zone #4
In "Closer to the Flame," Frank Castle pushes deeper into the Carbone family's world, using Rosalie as a bridge to their inner circle. As the Kingpin's network begins to unravel, a prison interrogation reveals a name that sets off a deadly chain reaction—Johnny Tower is now marked for death. With the clock ticking and a car rigged to explode, Frank fights to reach his safehouse, hoping the Microchip can still help, even as the trail goes cold. Written by Chuck Dixon and illustrated by John Romita Jr., with inks by Klaus Janson, colors by Gregory Wright, and letters by Jim Novak, the cover by Romita Jr. and Janson captures the tension of a man racing against time.
