The Punisher: War Zone #5
In "Feeding Frenzy," the Punisher faces a fiery end when strapped to an exploding car—only to be saved at the last second by Shotgun. As Julius and Rosalie journey to a South American island for a mob meeting with Rosalie’s soon-to-be father-in-law, Sal, grappling with memory loss, begins calling himself Thorn and searches for fragments of his past. When Frank and Shotgun rescue Mickey and uncover the island’s location, Sal is drawn back to the family he once knew. All paths converge on the Island of the Sleeping Sharks. Written by Chuck Dixon and illustrated by John Romita Jr., with inks by Klaus Janson, colors by Gregory Wright, and letters by Jim Novak, the cover by Romita Jr. and Janson captures the tension of a story hurtling toward its climax.
