“Castle Technique”

In "Castle Technique," the Punisher regroups after his injuries, forming an unlikely alliance with a husband-and-wife team of prison guards. Together, they race to stop a violent prison transport from being hijacked by the Samson Family and their unstable leader, Lydia Spotto. As the chaos unfolds, one guard faces a desperate choice—between a deadly standoff and a final, reckless move. Written by Mike Baron and illustrated by Whilce Portacio with inks by Scott Williams, this tense, grounded chapter of The Punisher Magazine features a striking cover by James Sherman.

The Punisher recovers from last issue's injuries and gains a husband and wife team (both prison guards) as allies in the process. The trio try to keep Lydia Spotto and the Samson Family members from rescuing their crazed cult leader during a prison transport. As the firefight winds down and the Punisher takes care of Charlie, Ortiz finds himself stuck between a gunman and approaching police and makes a suicide play.
