The Powerpuff Girls #43
Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup look anything but pleased on the cover of this 2003 DC/Cartoon Network entry, as all three girls zoom into action against an enormous, sandwich-snatching chicken — with the bold promise of "Power Lunch!" plastered right across the chaos. Phil Moy's cover art captures the trio's determined expressions perfectly, surrounded by trees and feathers as their midday meal situation spirals out of control. If the cover story title "Power Picnic" is any indication, writer Ivan Velez Jr. and artist Christopher Cook have cooked up a delightfully silly adventure that fans of the animated series will find right at home.
