After the Atom dispatches Locust with electrical power, the Pixies find themselves swept down a river in a bathtub, encountering a whirlpool and nearly drowning before being rescued. The story concludes with the Mighty Atom intervening again to save the tiny heroes, who are subsequently approached by Beetlebrowdies attempting to steal their grape juice, leading to a final comedic chase that ends with the Atom's retirement into "plain old Pick O' Pixies" form.
When Tom, Dick and Harry's favorite pipe slide breaks, the Mighty Atom steps in with an ingenious—if unconventional—replacement: a globe rigged with pins and thread. What starts as a thrilling imaginary journey "Around the World" takes an unexpected turn when a forgotten bathtub drain threatens to wash the tiny adventurers away for real. It's a wild ride that mixes the boys' innocent fun with genuine peril, and only the Mighty Atom can steer them to safety.
