When a charity party at Pixerary Park is threatened by a swarm of insects bent on stealing the bread crumbs meant for the poor, Pete Pixie must transform into the Mighty Atom to save the day—though even his superhuman strength proves no match for sheer numbers. With quick thinking and a phonograph record, Pete discovers an unexpected way to drive off the thieves and ensure the party—and the community's food supply—are saved.

When Pete Pixie discovers a butterfly with a torn wing stranded outside Pixerary, he mends it with glue—and gains a grateful new friend who becomes the town's first living airplane. But word travels fast, and the wicked ants of Ant-Town march on Pixerary from both north and south, determined to steal this remarkable flying companion away. Pete transforms into the Mighty Atom and unleashes an unconventional defense: a deluge of orange juice that sends both ant armies scrambling back home, leaving the Pixies and their butterfly-plane safe to enjoy their newfound mode of travel.

When Uncle Pete's birthday arrives, the young pixies find themselves in a bind—they have no gift to give him. Spying a rose bud, they improvise with ingenuity, pressing the petals with a bobby pin and collecting the liquid in a bottle to craft a homemade after-shave lotion. It's a charming tale of making do with what nature provides and the thought that counts most on a special day.
