The story concludes with the group safe and unharmed, as Richy Bird is revealed to be a "Jail Bird" before they all depart.
When a sugar shortage leaves the young pixies of Pixerary without sweets, they strike a deal with a desperate bee to build him a train—complete with handmade parts and a coffee-pot engine—to haul his cotton to Beeland in exchange for honey. But a scheming ant and caterpillar have their own designs on the bee's reward, and Pete Pixie must call upon the Mighty Atom to keep the Candy Line Express on track.
When the Pixies find a bar of magical soap and start washing up, they discover it produces enormous bubbles that trap them in a swirling storm—including Uncle Pete's best girl, Polly. Uncle Pete transforms into the Mighty Atom to mount a daring rescue, but with his loved ones scattered across the chaos and a wasp adding to the trouble, he's got his work cut out for him. It's a bubbly romp through Pixerary as our pint-sized hero races to save the day.
Tom, Dick and Harry stumble upon the leftovers from a picnic lunch in the woods, and the three tiny Pixie children set about turning salt cellars, spoons, and silverware into an imaginative playground—complete with a seesaw and a diving board. What starts as simple fun becomes something wonderful when the trio realize they've created a place where all the Pixies can come together to play.
When a devastating four-month drought threatens to destroy all the crops in Pixerary, Pete Pixie transforms into the Mighty Atom and hatches an ingenious plan to save the farms. Using an enormous watermelon and a salvaged phonograph, he cobbles together a water system to distribute the precious liquid where it's needed most. It's a race against time and gravity as the Mighty Atom works to turn an agricultural crisis into a triumph of pixie ingenuity.
