The Outsiders #22

Part two of "The Hunt" arrives in this November 2009 DC series, and Tom Mandrake's cover makes an immediate impression — a massive, snarling creature dominates the upper half of the image, its claws and teeth bared as a red-and-gold costumed hero braces against its assault, while a pale, spiral-marked face looms ominously in the foreground amid writhing tendrils. Peter J. Tomasi, Fernando Pasarin, and Jay Leisten bring their considerable talents to the interior, promising the same visceral energy on display here. If the cover is any indication, the Outsiders are facing something genuinely dangerous this issue.
