From the creative team of Marv Wolfman and Kevin O'Neill comes this 1985 installment of DC's far-flung space saga, titled "Okaara!" The cover, illustrated by Kevin O'Neill, is a visceral, otherworldly image: a massive grey-skinned brute is coiled and crushed within the grip of a great crimson serpentine creature ringed with jagged spines and fleshy tendrils, while three Omega Men — a white-haired figure crackling with energy, a golden-flamed warrior, and a blue-and-white-suited hero — face the monstrous scene below. O'Neill's alien biology and raw kinetic energy make this one of the more striking covers in the series' run.
