The New Teen Titans #20
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeWhat a charming and clever conceit: the entire cover of The New Teen Titans #20 (June 1982) is structured as a letter home from Wally West to his parents, illustrated with three vignette panels showing Changeling and Cyborg hunting a villain called the Disruptor in the sewers, Wonder Girl plummeting toward the East River, and a chase scene near a city bridge — all signed off with "Your loving son, Wally. P.S. please send Money!" A couple looking on from a framed photo in the upper right adds a warm, domestic touch that makes this cover feel genuinely unlike anything else on the spinner rack that year. George Pérez both penciled and inked the cover, and the result is a witty, warmly rendered piece that treats superheroics as just another week in a teenager's life.
