The Marvels #11

This mind-bending Alex Ross cover for issue #11 pulls off a genuinely clever trick: multiple hands clutch copies of The Marvels itself, each one containing a smaller version of the same image, creating an infinite-regression effect that draws the eye deeper and deeper into the composition. Crowded into the frame are Spider-Man, Captain America, a blonde-haired figure, and a wide-eyed civilian, all seemingly caught up in the same vertiginous loop.
