“The Triple Threat”

In "The Triple Threat," Mary journeys to the city orphanage to support a vital shoe drive, but when the Mayor claims to have seen leprechauns, public doubt spreads and threatens to derail the event—just as he’s set to speak. With Jack Binder handling both pencils and inks, the art captures the whimsy and urgency of the moment, while C. C. Beck’s cover, inked by Pete Costanza, hints at the magical mischief ahead.
