The Legion of Super-Heroes Archives #8
In "The Mutiny of the Super-Heroines!" — a standout chapter from The Legion of Super-Heroes Archives #8 (1998) — Chameleon Boy finds himself caught between duty and desire when a battle he’s forbidden to win could finally secure his marriage to Princess Elwinda. When King Artros’ forces falter against Baron Kodor, Cham’s choice to step in ignites a chain of events that confounds the Legion, leading to a dramatic and unexpected intervention. Written by Jim Shooter and illustrated by Shooter and Win Mortimer, with colors by Rick Taylor and Tom McCraw and letters by Gaspar Saladino, the issue’s dynamic art and emotional stakes are perfectly framed by Dan Jurgens and Karl Kesel’s striking cover.
