From the cover by Olivier Coipel (inked by Andy Lanning), a cheerful, diaper-clad baby tumbles through the air crying "GIRRBL!*" — helpfully translated at the bottom as "WHEEE!" — while a dark-haired Legionnaire in white stretches her arms upward in a desperate attempt to catch it, as several teammates pile up in a heap below her amid scattered baby bottles and a pacifier. The whole scene radiates a wonderfully chaotic energy that perfectly suits the story title "Baby on Board," and writers Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning clearly aren't above letting their 31st-century heroes be humbled by the smallest of adversaries. A fun, lighthearted entry in this 2002 series that proves not every Legion mission involves galaxy-threatening menaces.
