The Jughead Jones Comics Digest #54
In "Nothing But the Truth," Archie’s usual romantic entanglements take a sharp turn when new girl Cheryl Blossom arrives in Riverdale, immediately making her intentions clear to both Archie and Reggie. Betty tries to set her straight, but things get complicated when Veronica catches Archie in a moment that looks worse than it is—until Jason Blossom shows up and steals her attention. Just as Archie seems doomed, Jughead steps in with his legendary "magic pin" and turns the tide, leading to a surprising pairing with Cheryl. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Dan DeCarlo, with inks by Jim DeCarlo and colors by Barry Grossman, this 1988 issue features a delightfully chaotic mix of flirtation and farce, all wrapped in a cover by Doug Crane and Jim DeCarlo.
