The Joker Presents: A Puzzlebox #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA large green-tinted hand hovers over a set of puzzle pieces on this striking Chip Zdarsky cover, each piece bearing the face of a key DC figure — Batman, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, the Penguin, and Black Mask — suggesting the Joker is quite literally assembling (or dismantling) Gotham's most dangerous players. Matthew Rosenberg leads a talented creative team including artists Jesús Merino, Keron Grant, and Dani for "Blood and Snow, Water and Stone," promising a story as layered as its central conceit. If issue one left you intrigued by this anthology-style puzzle narrative, issue two looks ready to add another unsettling piece to the picture.

Gordon and Bullock continue their interview the Joker to find out who killed the Riddler, while Detectives Allen and Montoya interrogate Black Mask. In flashback, we see Black Mask travels to Russia to acquire one of the mystery artifacts, but he is not the only Gotham villain interested in it. Also, Harley Quinn tracks another of the artifacts where she has an encounter with Mad Hatter.
