The Invaders #36

The Invaders face a grim situation on this January 1979 Marvel cover, where Namor the Sub-Mariner takes a punishing energy blast from the armored Iron Cross while Captain America and the Human Torch look on with alarm — the cover's dialogue making it brutally clear that reaching Namor underwater may be beyond even his teammates' reach.
