The Huntress: Origins #[nn]
☆ Be the first to reviewThis collection traces the early adventures of the Huntress, Helena Bertinelli, as she carves her own violent path through the DC Universe. Gathered from her initial appearances and key storylines, it showcases her transition from a mob-connected survivor to a vigilante operating outside the traditional Bat-family rules. The volume presents the foundational tales that define her character, including her clashes with organized crime and her complex relationship with Gotham's other protectors.
In "From Each Ending ... A Beginning!", Huntress confronts a city on fire—literally and figuratively—as flames rage through South Gotham and a mysterious figure recruits a child into a deadly game. With tensions mounting at her law firm, where her rise to partnership has stirred resentment from junior lawyer Roger Demarest, Helena’s fight for justice takes a darker turn. Written by Paul Levitz and illustrated by Joe Staton, with inks by Bob Layton, colors by Adrienne Roy, and letters by Todd Klein, this issue features a striking cover by Brian Bolland.
