Moke Slade attempts to blackmail Broadway star Rita Worth since her father is serving a prison term for murder. She telephones the Torch for help and Slade overhears so he shoots her. The Torch finds out her real name from the police and visits with the father in jail. The father admits that he told his cellmate Moke about his daughter and Torch promises that he will bring him to justice. Moke falls to his death battling Torch and Toro.
