“Great Balls of Fire!”

Part three of "The Coming of the Crusaders" crossover brings The Fly front and center in this 1992 Impact Comics release, with cover art by Mike Parobeck and Paul Fricke bursting with kinetic energy. The Fly dominates the foreground in his gold-and-white costume, surging upward through a column of flame, while the fiery Fireball streaks alongside him and two more Crusaders — including a patriotic star-spangled hero and a flying figure in blue — fill out the action-packed scene. With an Impact trading card tucked inside and a creative team including writer Len Strazewski and artist Al Bigley, this is a satisfying chapter in one of DC's early-'90s shared-universe experiments.
