The Flash #8
In "Prelude to Flash War," the weight of loss drives an older Wally West to push beyond his limits, chasing memories of a family he can’t reach. As Iris recalls the journey that shaped Wally from Kid Flash to the Flash, the younger Wally grapples with his own doubts, leaving Barry behind in frustration. With the emotional toll becoming unbearable, Barry makes the difficult decision to send the older Wally to Sanctuary, aided by Superman and Wonder Woman. Written by Joshua Williamson and illustrated by Scott Kolins, with colors by Luis Guerrero and letters by Steve Wands, the issue’s cover by Howard Porter captures the urgency and heart of the moment.
