About this Collection

The Flash, Vol. 7: Rogue War collects issues #212-217 of the 2006 series, concluding Geoff Johns' acclaimed run on the character. This arc pits the Flash against a massive conflict between his classic Rogues gallery and a new generation of villains, with the fate of Keystone City hanging in the balance. The story also delves into the complex history of the Flash's rogues, including the return of familiar foes and the fallout from previous storylines.

In "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall," Barry Allen confronts Professor Zoom in a high-stakes race across time, seeking to undo the damage of a past tragedy. With Howard Porter's dynamic art and James Sinclair's vivid colors bringing the chaos to life, Geoff Johns crafts a tense, emotionally charged journey where small changes ripple through time. The cover by Howard Porter and Livesay captures the moment’s gravity, making this a standout issue in the Flash’s 2006 run.

Barry takes Professor Zoom back to his proper time period. Zoom and Wally return to the moment when Zoom caused Linda's miscarriage, but Wally subtly changes the events of that day. Zoom tries to use the Cosmic Treadmill against Wally without Profesor Zoom, but since he is fueled by time, not the speed force, the treadmill explodes, taking Zoom with it. As the survivors take stock of their lives, the effects of Wally's efforts in the past take hold with happy results.
