The Flash #308
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of this April 1982 issue tells a clever split-panel story: on the left, two children play-act "Heroes and Villains" with a boy dressed as the Flash squaring off against another wrapped in bandages like a mummy — a lighthearted childhood game. On the right, those same figures have grown up, and a speeding Flash races to rescue a woman in a pink dress from a very real, shambling mummy-like creature. Penciled by Carmine Infantino and inked by Dick Giordano, it's a wonderfully imaginative before-and-after design that gives the issue's interior story — written by Bates with art by Infantino — a warm personal dimension. Bonus backup fans will also notice the "Plus Dr. Fate!" banner up top, making this a particularly full package for 1982 DC readers.
