The Eagle #2

The issue features two main stories. In the first, The Eagle and Buddy intercept a Nazi plane attempting to drop eggs (explosives) and engage in aerial combat, eventually confronting enemy agents at a Brazilian airfield where Captain Powers assigns The Eagle to accompany an ambassador to South America. In the second story, The Eagle encounters the villain Glotha, who has discovered his secret identity and keeps his daughter imprisoned; The Eagle battles Glotha, sets fire to her castle, rescues the girl Alice, and defeats the villainess in combat. The issue also advertises "The Spider Queen" as a new feature.
