The stone itself was once held by the Sandman, adding a layer of ancient weight to the quest. Written by Bryan Talbot and illustrated by Peter Doherty, with inks by Tayyar Ozkan, colors by Daniel Vozzo, and letters by Todd Klein, the issue’s haunting atmosphere is perfectly captured in Dave McKean’s striking cover art.
