A gloriously deranged cover from Val Semeiks and Karl Kesel dominates this 1992 DC title, with Etrigan the Demon striding forward in his red-and-yellow costume while an enormous, sneering demonic face looms behind him, flanked by figures reacting in fear and violence. The bold cover copy — "Pain! Death! Destruction!" — sets the tone perfectly, and Etrigan's speech bubble cheerfully declares these are a few of his favorite things. Alan Grant's story "Labyrinth" promises the kind of darkly witty supernatural mayhem this series consistently delivered.
