The police arrive and Mickey finds out that Jackie didn’t kill the people he wanted dead, but that he killed three other people instead. While evading the police, Jackie runs into Lori, who was unable to leave the building when the police arrived. Jackie confronts Mickey only to find out that “Mickey” is an aspect of the Darkness. Jackie kills him and he and Lori return to his hotel room where Lori receives a phone call telling her that her son and her mother are dead. The police burst in on Jackie and Lori and she convinces him to unleash the Darkness.
