Donald rents a horse and sleigh and intends go "over the river and through the woods to grandmother's (Grandma Duck's) house" as in the classic verse. But Donald's romanticized version and the real-life version find themselves at serious odds. Despite the many adversities, Donald still learns a valuable lesson about giving.
