To escape the bitter cold and snow of Duckburg's winter, Donald trades his house for an airplane with which he and his nephews could fly south to warmer climes. Fate has other plans when the mayor asks him to fly a cargo of needed penicillin to Point Marrow, Alaska. Two crooks stash a stolen map to a gold mine in Donald's plane to be recovered by Pete when the Ducks reach Alaska.
