The Complete Carl Barks Disney Library #1
A map from Donald's seafood restaurant sets the ducks and their parrot companion Old Yellow Beak on a swashbuckling voyage to find pirate Henry Morgan’s buried treasure in "Donald Duck Finds Pirate Gold," a classic adventure drawn by Carl Barks and Jack Hannah with inks by Barks and Hannah, and colors by Gary Leach. The story unfolds aboard a ship whose crew hides a dangerous secret, as Black Pete—disguised as an old woman—plots to steal the prize while the ducks and their feathered friend race toward the island. The cover, penciled and inked by Carl Barks, captures the tale’s adventurous spirit.

Bearing a map found in Donald's seafood restaurant, the ducks and a parrot named Old Yellow Beak set sail for an island where the pirate Henry Morgan's treasure is buried. Unknown to them, the crew of the ship is made up of Black Pete, disguised as an old woman, and two of his rat-faced henchmen. Pete takes over the ship, but the ducks and the parrot reach the treasure island on a raft. They dig up the treasure while Pete lies in wait.
