The Comet #1
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover of this inaugural 1991 Impact Comics series says it all — the Comet, clad in his blue-and-red costume, rockets skyward against a vast full moon and star-filled sky, fists raised as a city glitters far below, with the bold declaration "The Impact Era Begins Here!" leaving no doubt this is a fresh start for the character. Cover art by Tom Lyle sets a confident, kinetic tone that matches the "First Flight" story title perfectly. Whether you're a longtime fan of the Archie Comics hero or discovering him for the first time, this first issue is a genuinely compelling place to jump aboard.

It occurred while investigating his parents' disappearance at a research lab in Alaska. He tells Victoria that he is determined to capture Applejack.
