“The Big Super-Hero Hunt”

In "The Big Super-Hero Hunt," the Sportsmaster strikes again, snatching the famed Parker Trophy and forcing Black Canary into a desperate pursuit. Meanwhile, Starman finds himself entangled in a web of deception when he discovers Wildcat has been captured by the Huntress—only to learn the unlikely truth: the two villains are now married and targeting him, Wildcat, and Black Canary in a coordinated bid for glory. Written by Gardner Fox and brought to life with sharp, dynamic art by Murphy Anderson (both interior and cover), this 1965 classic blends suspense and intrigue in a high-stakes showdown that pits heroes against a newly united, cunning foe.

The Sportsmaster appears on the scene and steals the famed Parker Trophy, leaving Black Canary, who, along with her men, were assigned to protect it, to get it back. At the same time, Starman discovers that Wildcat has been captured by the Huntress, and while fending off birds sent by the villainess to attack him, he learns that the crime duo are now man and wife, and are out to capture himself as well as Wildcat and Black Canary.
