Two lone figures — one broad-shouldered man with his back to us, another shorter man facing us with a look of unease — stand at the center of a dense crowd of costumed superheroes stretching as far as the eye can see, the whole scene rendered with sharp, confident linework by cover artist Darick Robertson. The tension between the ordinary-looking pair and the sea of caped and armored figures surrounding them captures The Boys' core dynamic with striking economy.
