Vampirella and Britt Reid are having a drink at the Scarlet Club when they are interrupted by Magna Spadarossa who is being pursued by five men armed with swords. Vampirella dispatches the five men who are discovered to be identical 'clones'. Magna explains that she was trying to find what happened to her sister Sonja and the men were apparently sent to dissuade her search.
