“The Case Batman Failed to Solve!!!”
About this Collection

This volume collects issues #13-16 of the 1990s Batman Chronicles series, a quarterly anthology that spotlighted various corners of the Dark Knight's world. Featuring stories by writers like Devin Grayson and artists such as Paul Ryan and John Nyberg, it includes tales of Batman, Robin, and other Gotham characters, continuing the series' tradition of offering diverse, self-contained narratives within the Bat-mythos.

In "The Case Batman Failed to Solve!!!!", the Penguin takes a shocking turn, launching a criminal enterprise that pre-sells crimes at steep discounts—only to betray his clients and eliminate them entirely. To stop the chaos, Batman goes undercover as the mysterious "Bad News" Brewster, undercutting the Penguin with his own high-stakes, low-cost crime schemes. Written by Don Cameron and illustrated by Jack Burnley with inks by Ray Burnley, this issue features a cover by Fred Ray and Jerry Robinson.
