In "...Moment of Death," Shang-Chi finds himself hunted by Demmy Marston, who blames him for the death of his lover at the hands of Korain. Trapped in an aquatic park, Shang-Chi is brutally beaten, only to be saved at the last moment by Dr. Fu Manchu, who intervenes with a deadly snake and declares that Shang-Chi’s fate is not yet sealed.

In "The Sands of Death," Dr. Strange faces an impossible trial when the Living Tribunal condemns Earth to annihilation for a cosmic threat he unleashed. With the fate of the world hanging on a mystical Hourglass at Stonehenge, Strange must race against time to contain the menace before the sands run out—challenging the Tribunal’s judgment with his past victories and the slim hope of redemption.
