The Atom #7
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe July 1963 cover of The Atom #7, penciled by Gil Kane and inked by Murphy Anderson, wastes no time announcing a team-up: the cover banner proudly bills "the super-powered team of the Atom and Hawkman" in "The Case of the Cosmic Camera!" On the rooftop scene below, a pint-sized Atom punches one of several orange-and-purple alien-looking figures swarming around a large camera, while a winged Hawkman — chained and struggling — grapples with more of the same enemies near a hovering flying saucer overhead. It's a lively, action-packed composition that makes the most of DC's "World's Smallest Super-Hero" sharing a cover with one of his winged colleagues.
