“Fun With Ninjas”

In "Fun With Ninjas," Deadpool finds himself dissected by the Skrulls, who are fascinated by his healing factor—so much so that they use it to create a new breed of Super Skrulls. Written by Daniel Way and illustrated by Paco Medina, with inks by Juan Vlasco and colors by Marte Gracia, the story follows Deadpool as he turns his captors' experiment into a twisted training ground, pitting the new Skrull Deadpools against each other and the original Super Skrulls. The chaos unfolds under a cover by Clayton Crain, as the Skrulls realize too late that their new warriors are being driven to madness—while Deadpool quietly plays both sides, all under the watchful eye of Nick Fury.

Deadpool offers to work for the Skrulls but they decide to dissect him and figure out what makes him tick. Discovering that he has an extraordinary healing factor, the Skrulls implement this into the next batch of Super Skrulls. Deadpool convinces his Skrull captors to let him train the new army of Skrull Deadpools and does so by pitting them against the regular Super Skrulls and each other. Watching their new breed of warriors killing each other off, the Skrull command realizes too late that Deadpool is plain crazy. What they don't know is that he is also secretly working for Nick Fury.
