“Horror Business Part One: Gross Misconduct”

In "Horror Business Part One: Gross Misconduct," Deadpool takes on a grim mercenary gig from his old ally Zeke—targeting a plastic surgeon responsible for turning Zeke’s wife into a zombie. With his own appearance barely holding together, Deadpool’s already shaky credibility takes a hit as he walks into a job that’s equal parts gruesome and absurd. Written by Daniel Way and illustrated by Carlo Barberi, Paco Medina, and Juan Vlasco, with colors by Marte Gracia and Raúl Treviño, and letters by Virtual Calligraphy and Cory Petit, the issue’s cover by Jason Pearson captures the darkly comedic tone of this twisted tale.

Short on funds as his last few missions have not brought the cash rolling in, Deadpool takes a job from his old merc pal Zeke to kill the plastic surgeon who has turned Zeke's wife into a zombie. It doesn't help Deadpool’s cause much that his physical condition makes him look a little like a zombie himself.
