The Adventures of Little Archie #37
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1965 Giant Comics entry finds pint-sized Archie in a genuine nail-biter, sprinting down the railroad tracks while a stalled red car sits dangerously at the crossing behind him — his companion urging him to help push it clear as a train bears down. A small inset panel teases a second scrape involving what looks like a confrontation between Little Archie and a bigger kid, hinting at plenty more mischief packed into this oversized issue. With cover art by Dexter Taylor and stories written and drawn by Bob Bolling, issue #37 captures that warm, adventure-around-every-corner spirit that made Little Archie such a treat throughout the 1960s.

Little Archie's shortcuts across Thrill Hill, Shallow Creek and Potter's Pond are causing him to be late for school now that it's winter. Mr. Weatherbee, who has never been late for school, gives Little Archie detention and a lecture. But Little Archie bets his friends that he can be on time for school tomorrow using the exact same route he took before.
