DC's long-running comedy series takes a wild turn in this 1970 issue, as the cover — penciled and inked by Bob Oksner — throws Jerry Lewis into an encounter with a sword-wielding, snarling wild man who's lunging straight at him with a club and blade. A dark-haired young woman in a red top and white skirt urges "Don't worry, Jerry, I'll help!" while a wide-eyed, terrified Jerry pleads to be gotten "outta here — FAST!" The contrast between Jerry's rubbery panic and his companion's cool confidence makes for a genuinely funny snapshot of the screwball charm that kept this series going strong.
