Bob Hope is pulled into a bizarre underwater mission when Vera Bentley enlists him to help her father, P. R. Bentley, locate a mysterious fresh-water current two miles beneath the sea. With a cast of eccentric beatniks, a sharp-tongued female hotel clerk, and a team of eccentric scientists—including an attractive female ocean scientist—Bob finds himself navigating deep-sea oddities, Cha-Cha’s jazz rhythms, and Olga’s peculiar charm in a quest that’s equal parts absurd and exhilarating.
