The Adventures of Bob Hope #43

Feb 1957 · DC · 0.10 USD

In this delightfully absurd 1957 adventure, Bob Hope finds himself trapped in a prehistoric jungle where a cave girl saves him from both a pterodactyl and a club-wielding caveman—only to punch him when he mocks her with a silly tune. After a wild escape involving a yo-yo and a sudden return to Professor Spooner’s lab, Bob’s misadventures continue when he fails to win on "The $65,000 Question," prompting Mrs. Peabody to chase him with a club over a missing rent payment. Written by Cal Howard and brought to life with energetic art by Owen Fitzgerald and inks by Graham Place, the cover by Fitzgerald and Place captures the chaos perfectly.
