Thanos #3

Thanos #3 finds the Mad Titan at the center of a ferocious cosmic brawl, and Mike Deodato's cover makes the scale of the threat immediately clear. Thanos stands grimly resolute as a caped sorcerer, a fiery energy-wielding figure, a black-and-red costumed warrior, and at least two other combatants crash against him in a storm of blue energy blasts and swirling flames. Jeff Lemire and Deodato were clearly not easing readers into this series — by issue three, it's already an all-out war against one of Marvel's most formidable villains.
