Fawcett's long-running Western series brings its silver-screen cowboy hero front and center in this October 1953 issue, with Tex Ritter filling the cover in his signature red shirt, polka-dot kerchief, and gray Stetson — rifle in hand, cool-eyed and ready, as a tense stagecoach chase unfolds in the background.
