The penultimate chapter of Dean Motter and Michael Lark's retro-futurist noir series arrives with a Matt Wagner cover that centers on the hulking bronze form of the BL-100 robot, arms raised and red-eyed, dominating the scene with quiet menace. Flanking it are two of Terminal City's eccentrically goggled residents — a blue-haired woman on the left and a smitten-looking figure on the right, tiny hearts floating around his head. It's a wonderfully offbeat image that captures the series' blend of dieselpunk atmosphere and deadpan humor right as the story heads into its final stretch.
