Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures #20

The Statue of Liberty takes center stage on this striking May 1991 cover, with the Turtles apparently in the grip of Lady Liberty's torch-raised hand while two imposing threats close in — a snarling, dragon-like creature lunges from the left and a hulking armored figure looms from the right. It's a wonderfully dramatic image that captures the grand, globe-trotting (or at least landmark-hopping) scale that made Archie's TMNT Adventures such a lively companion to the animated era. Fans of the series will want this one for the sheer audacity of its setup alone.
