Teen Titans Spotlight #10

This 1987 spotlight issue puts Aqualad front and center — and the Bill Sienkiewicz cover makes a striking case for the character's underwater world, showing Aqualad tumbling helplessly through swirling currents while a snarling, gorilla-like beast looms above him, teeth bared and eyes wide with menace. The dynamic composition, all churning green water and writhing lines, gives the whole scene a disorienting, genuinely unsettling energy. With John Ostrander writing and Erik Larsen on interior art, "Scar Tissue" looks like a compelling deep dive into one of the Teen Titans' most undersung members.
