Team 7 - Dead Reckoning #2

The second chapter of Dead Reckoning arrives with a cover by Michael Golden that crackles with mid-combat urgency — a muscular, bandaged soldier fires an assault rifle in the foreground while two more combatants grapple and tumble through a crumbling stone wall behind him, the whole scene bathed in that scorched amber and gold that makes the destruction feel almost volcanic. Chuck Dixon scripts, with interior art from Jason Johnson inked by Tom McWeeney, so the storytelling chops behind this 1996 Image series are genuinely solid. If military black-ops action with a raw, kinetic edge is your thing, "Accidentally Like a Martyr" looks like it delivers exactly that.
