In "Die Rettung," Meru faces off against a cunning hunter and his hired enforcer when they demand she release the white gorilla baby Crystal—now speaking and growing rapidly thanks to her care. With her instincts sharp, she tricks them using a color-changing potion on Crystal, leading the villains to believe they’ve been outwitted. The jungle holds its breath as the young gorilla’s true strength and loyalty are tested in a tense showdown.

In "Ein Drachen aus dem Nichts," Meru faces down three villains who come to steal her talking animals, only to be driven off in terror by a blazing dragon. The truth behind the spectacle is far more clever than mythical—what they saw was a dazzling illusion, a 3-D projection of a small lizard, with fire created by red mace. The jungle holds more than wild beasts; it hides the ingenuity of those who defend it.
